Message from the Founders
Ms. Adewumi Tijani
SOWI FoundersSOWI Foundaton is a community based Organization committed to improving lives of people, especially the vulnerable; children, girls and women. We work with private and public sectors to implement mentorship program, counseling, rehabilitation, career talks, vocational trainings, and medical outreaches, to enhance behaviour change and positive attitude to life. This will improve access to essential needs of life; in education, health, psychology, economic development and other services and products to promote healthy living.
We remain focused and flexible in order to continue delivering the best return of investments in community health through innovative interventions and working with strategic partners. We will continue to gather a formidable force in human and other resources to compliment the global effort of fighting poverty, protecting children and the girl-child, and invest in capacity building and Entrepreneurship.
Management Team
SOWI is a non-governmental Organization founded in March 2017 by Ms Adewumi Tijani and Dr Ayodele Adewale and supported by dedicated Management team and volunteers made up of veterans and professionals in their fields with a desire for good leadership, way of life and better-quality health care.
Ms. Adewumi Tijani
Adewumi Tijani is a public health data analyst with vast experience in Program Management as well as Research, Monitoring and Evaluation. Her experience in the media at the early days of her career enhanced her versatility in Advocacy, Communication and Social Mobilization/ Behavioural Change and Communication (ACSM/BCC). She is a journalist, Play/scriptwriter, and a humanitarian worker with a drive to assist the needy
